The chair took some time to arrive, which is understandable given that it is a new model. In the end, the wait was worth it. The packaging was excellent and very carefully done, and the chair offers an impressive range of adjustments, more than one could reasonably ask for.
That said, the chair is fairly large and could benefit from a bit more refined styling. In grey, it has somewhat of a “medical” or “surgeon’s chair” look (as my wife jokingly calls it), which gives it a slightly hospital-like vibe.
In terms of improvements, I would highlight three main points:
1. Materials – There is quite a lot of plastic used. While this does not affect functionality, it can make the price point feel harder to justify from a materials perspective.
2. Backrest lock – On my unit, the backrest lock occasionally disengages when I lean back, causing the chair to recline unintentionally. This can be a bit annoying, although after locking and unlocking it a few times, it usually works as intended.
3. Seat mesh comfort over long periods – While the seat base is generally comfortable, the mesh gives in over time. After sitting for a full day, I start to feel pressure from the sides, as the mesh compresses and the frame begins to press against the hips and legs. This is only noticeable during very long sitting sessions, but worth mentioning.
Overall, it is a highly adjustable and well-engineered chair, with a few areas where refinements could further improve the experience.
